The Breath-A-Tech spacer should be washed in clean lukewarm water with dishwashing detergent and allowed to air dry without rinsing. Face masks can be washed in the same way. Please see the Care and Use page for more information.

It is recommended by the National Asthma Council Australia that regularly used spacers should be cleaned at least once a month.

The aerosol film from your puffer may coat the inside of your spacer causing it to have a cloudy appearance. This creates a static free environment inside the chamber and will not affect drug delivery

Breath-A-Tech’s universal end cap is made from flexible silicone and fits all standard puffers. Some puffers with larger or more circular outlets may result in a tighter fit. To avoid damage to the end cap, first insert one side of the puffer across the widest distance of the end cap (pushing to slightly stretch the end cap opening) and then firmly but gently lever the other side into place.
